The Franklin Boutique Hotel

The staff were friendly, helpful and went out of their way. The hotel upstairs and downstairs is beautifully decorated and an enjoyable place to be. The bar area is a fun place and there’s a courtyard and street seating The room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. Large bathroom with a big deep bathtub, large comfy bed, free minibar and loot bag, and a charming veranda. Great location, bus station across the street, and Central Markets and a tram stop one street away. I was upgraded to a Premium Room from a Superior Room, so grateful and happy.

The hotel could be better described as a pub with rooms (just 6 in total). Room 5 is a bit on the small side but as a solo traveller, absolutely fine and the bathroom was enormous. The pub downstairs had an excellent selection of drinks and a varied food menu. The hotel is directly opposite Adelaide bus station which was one of my reasons for choosing it.

We were upgraded to the superior room, purely because it was free and they would rather someone get to use it than not. The staff were so friendly, on arrival you get shown to your room and assistance with your bags if needed. The room was exceptionally clean and spacious with a lovely big comfortable bed. The bar fridge is stocked with complimentary beer, cider and soft drinks and a cute little goody bag with some snacks. To top it off, they provide Evo brand shampoo, conditioner, hand/body wash and moisturiser which is a lovely little luxury in comparison to the cheap stuff you usually get. There is a Bar and Restaurant downstairs and you are able to take anything up to your room, food and cocktails were amazing.

The hotel is really a pub with quality accommodations above. We registered so to speak in the pub two hours early because we were transferring from another hotel. The staff were first class taking our bags. Ate twice at their restaurant which was great. The quality of the food was vastly above what one could expect from a hotel. Quantity large. One reason for booking was the hotel is across the road from the bus terminal which we used to leave Adelaide

Lovely clean room with large bathroom, overlooking beer garden. Everything in mini bar and a little bag of sweets was included. Friendly staff helped with luggage up the stairs.
